Long Explanation

The '~아/어/여서' ending is used in Korean to denote a cause-and-effect relationship between two clauses. The clause that contains '~아/어/여서' indicates the reason or cause, and the main clause describes the result. Which form (아/어/여) you use depends on the verb stem’s final vowel or '하다' (which becomes '해서').
