In Korean, expressing uncertainty or not knowing about a particular fact or situation is essential for everyday communication. The grammar pattern ~는지 모르겠다 is used to convey "I'm not sure if..." or "I don't know whether...". Mastering this structure will enhance your ability to articulate doubt or uncertainty gracefully in Korean.
~는지 모르겠다 is used when the speaker is uncertain about a fact, event, or situation. It embeds a question within a statement, indicating that the speaker does not know the answer to that question.
The structure varies slightly depending on whether you're using a verb, adjective, or noun.
