Formation

Verb stem + 기 + 힘들다

Examples

매일 아침 일찍 일어나기 힘들어요, 하지만 어쩔 수 없어요.

Maeil achim iljjik ireonagi himdeureoyo, hajiman eojjeol su eopseoyo.

It's hard to wake up early every morning, but I have no choice.

한국어를 배우는 게 처음에는 어려웠지만, 계속 연습해도 익숙해지기 힘들다는 걸 깨달았어요.

Hangukeoreul baeuneun ge cheoeumeneun eoryeowotjiman, gyesok yeonseuphaedo iksukhaejigi himdeuldaneun geol kkaedaratseoyo.

At first, learning Korean was tough, but I realized it's still hard to get used to it even with continued practice.

매일 운동하기 힘들지만, 건강을 위해 꾸준히 하려고 해요.

Long Explanation

'~기 힘들다 [gi himdeulda]' is used to describe that it's difficult or hard to do something. '힘들다' means 'hard' or 'tough,' while the preceding '~기' nominalizes the verb, turning it into 'doing X is hard.'
